How to clean the baby's face

Hygiene is a very important factor in the care of the baby. But sometimes, it is not as easy as we thought or seemed, so, we are going to give you a series of tips so you know how you can clean your baby's face easily and safely.
The best time to wash the baby's face is when you are more relaxed, so after the bath is perhaps the best time to do it.
First, to clean the face of your baby, pass wet gauze on his face or a soft damp sponge or special wipe. Clean the baby's face always from top to bottom, very gently. It is essential to go more carefully through the nostrils, to clean some little that has remained. If the baby is more congested, the ideal will be to make use of an extractor. And if your baby has an irritated nose to clean, you can apply a little hydrating cream on the nostrils, this will calm the irritated skin.

When we come to the time to wash their eyes, we must remember that the eyes of babies are especially delicate, so they need special care. To clean the eyes of the little ones it is advisable to use sterile gauze and soak it with physiological saline if you do not have serum, you can substitute it with warm water, previously boiled. Pass the gauze gently over the baby's eye. Remember that each eye will wear its gauze, and you should never use it for both eyes because if anyone has an infection it can infect the other.
If we have just taken the baby out of the bathroom, it is important to make sure we dry his ears well. Special attention must be paid to the folds, in which water droplets may remain. If our little one has too much wax we should not try to remove it with a stick or introduce anything inside, at most, try to clean the one that is in the area of more out with a swab. Remember that it is normal to have plenty of wax, necessary to protect the middle and inner ear from external infections.

After cleaning the face of the baby, and even if your baby does not have teeth, you have to take care of your mouth from very small so that future teeth come out healthy. For this reason, it is recommended that after the baby's last feeding day, pass sterile gauze with serum through the gums and teeth. Now that you know how to clean your baby's face, what are you waiting for to put it into practice?
